- Learn a sequence of yoga moves to help you understand the flow of yoga. Start with this video below from YogaJournal.com first thing in the morning, lunch time or even before you go to sleep. 15-20 minutes is all you need to get started!
- Look into yoga studios in your area and contact them to inquire about which classes would be a good fit for a beginner. See which days and times would be conducive to your schedule. Choosing a good fit and making that connection is key to consistency.
- Now that you have a sequence at home you can practice and a class you can attend...what are your goals? Why are you practicing yoga? What are you grateful for? What do you need from your practice?
Sit with your poses. Sit with your thoughts. Practice with INTENTION. Practice your BREATH. Home is where the breath is. Home is where the HEART is. Come home, return to your breath and open yourself up to receive PEACE.
